The RDX is already out. Corally called me last week saying they had the car to fill my backorder. But it took too long for them to get it out and I fell in love with the 415.

Are you guys having to prep the chassis? For example sanding/glueing the edges. I saw a couple of the RDXs at the Super Regional race in Florida. I didn't notice if that was done.

Well i did mine for the looks and the nice finish, not that the car needs the extra look. It's so beautifuly finished and crafted!!! Know i shall wait for the parts missing in my kit and then hit the track
Thumbs-up for the Corally RDX

Yeah definately do the usual prep to the chassis. I used a wet 600 grit to take off the edges and then used some CA. Also file down the battery slots they are a bit sharp (just a little otherwise your cells will drag).

Also a little heads up for those building an RDX, skip to the end and assemble the sway bar mounts on the arms at the beginning of the assembly process.

Take note of the sway bars cause they look the same but are actually different lengths!

I finally got to run my RDX and was pretty impressed with how smooth and quiet this car is. In about 6 batteries I was able to get the same lap times as my Xray that I have had 6 months to tune on the layout with.

Hey Mike, You were able to match your xray lap times after just 6 packs. Thats awesome! Car must be great right out of the box. Goodluck with your new car.

Yeah it was pretty good right outta the box.

I think once I get some time on it and get a "setup" I should be a few tenths faster.
