I have been using that on carpet/foam on low, medium, and medium/high bite and it has been awesome. The 3.5 mm topdeck is a nice feature of the Carpet spec, but not essential. Jeff Dayger finished 2nd in stock at the carpet nats with a UK kit (3 mm chassis plates).
As far as bang-for-your buck goes, you can't beat the Carpet spec, as you get the X-hard 75% arms, 4 degree blocks, 3.5 mm topdeck and silver spring set. If you got this kit, you would want to get the Black spring set for rubber tires and probably the 3 mm topdeck, but that depends on how high the grip is at your track.

So I get the Carpet kit, 3mm top deck, black springs?

I don't have a picture but I run the GTX. I took a piece of lexan and cut it the width of the Speedo and the length of it plus about another 3/4 inch to shoo goo the Cap down.
Then I just slide the whole thing in with the wires facing forward. The cap sits under the topdeck. Depends what receiver I guess but it works perfectly. If you can follow that description. hehe.

what Extra Parts should I stock up on? and where to get them?
I'm planning on getting the RDX,
What parts should I stock up on incase something breaks?
or what parts are the weakest on the car in case something
does break?.....
Also, can someone list all the websites where
I can order parts ASAP just in case I need them ASAP
thanks
p.s. How hard is it to build this kit?
I've built the Assasin before, will it be just
as tedious?

Same as any other car for spares.... arms, shock tower, steering knuckles, king pins for C-hubs, belts, screws, etc.
CorallyUSA website also has Parts List with Part Number, description and an image if available. Hope this points you in the right direction.

The only item I have broken so far however is one steering knuckle.
I cannot comment on how this car is to assemble compared to the Assasin cause I have never built an Assasin but the RDX went together better than any other car I've ever built (including X-Ray).
