Default need charger - lrp pulsar comp or novak millenium pro

The discharge and motor run-in/lathe power supply features arent essential, so it is down to which is a better CHARGER

Anyone got any experience good or bad or opinions you may share?

I need to make a decision in the next day or two.

TIA

looks arent a major issue here... i like the look of both

What makes the pulsar the better of the two? Is it worth the US$40 more?
Does it have NiCad and NiMH programs like the Millenium Pro?

dont go any of the Two
go and check out the Eagle CDC , they offer great value and the settings are very easy to use ,& understand
they also discharge up to 20amp
quite a few guys in the club use them with no prblems

ps they charge Nicad and Nimh as well

Another option is the CE Pitbull X3. It is basically a Turbo35 w/ out the bells and whistles.

And oh, the Novak is a solid charger too.

How much are the Eagle and CE Pitbull ones? where would I get one from?
Was going to get it from Tower as they are about half the price of LHS

Pitbull X3 costs around 135.00 I believe.

If you're running the GT7 it might be worth your while to get the Novak Mil Pro because it has a built in pit wizard that will help you set up your GT7.
BTW: I just bought an Integy charger today, so that's what I prefer. 20a discharge vs. 10a dis on the Pulsar vs. no dis on the Novak. The choice is yours!

j240z: The GT7 doesn't use a pit wizard. The Cyclone series and some others do.

Yeah the pit wizard doesnt work with gt7 unfortunately

the discharge on the lrp is a bonus but not essential, would rather have a separate discharger even a series of light bulbs so i can discharge one pack and charge another at the same time, so its not a major factor for me...

Anyone else have any other opinions?

Need to order it today or tonight so it can get here from USA hopefully in time for next race meet...
