Default 8-t 1.0 with 2.0 body... simple.

This is some cell pics of my proline bulldog 2.0 body on my 1.0 chassis. I bought 0 parts and shaved 1 of the rear body mount tabs flat on 1 side and cut body to length, i raised the front body mounts up 1 hole as well to get it to clear the shocks.... that simple

i went with a Pactra - fiery orange. I love it.. took about 3 passes to get it dark enough, its very sparkly when sprayed but has a nice finish.

You painted the wing? Doesn't it flake off when the wing flexes?

Looks good btw.

Thanks. From what ive read and heard from people Pactra is a very flexible paint, far more flexible then Tamiya, which i have had very poor results with on my last 2 bodies, after the first cartwheel half the paint just fell off... i also coated the underside of the body with Shoe Goo lightly so protect the paint and the body from cracking.

20 bucks it smudges and smears and flakes off after the first tank on a track.

i beleive he's talking about the wing, the paint will come off the first time i comes in contact with the dirt.

I looked at mounting the 2.0 body on my 1.0 once. Seems like I decided you could drill the body mounts, then move them down to where the wing mount attaches to the shock tower (which is where the posts are on a 2.0) and just run a longer screw through. This would allow you to run the 2.0 body on the 1.0 at the proper height. Then I remembered I didn't want to drive a car that looked like a potato bug, and I bought another 1.0 body . I like your paint color though.
