Keeping your stuff clean
How do you guys keep your stuff clean? I run over stuff like staples all the time. Today my brother in law got a staple stuck in his motor and it locked up.
I always use the compressed air cans for cleaning computers, but it's expensive. Is there a cheaper alternative? What are the trouble spots that absolutely need to be clean?
I run in parking lots and it's really dirty. After a 5 minute race, I could start a jewelry store with the different collection of rocks that have shown up in my chassis.

if the track is really stony you could put some tape under the bottom deck holes to protect transmmision/motor.
the only other thingto do is run an underbody to stop more stones/rocks getting in.

I use the compressed air in a can. I buy it at Costco. You can get 4 cans for $8.00.

I use denatured alcohol as an all purpose cleaner ( careful around electronics though ) And if you have compressed air handy, use it to dry the alcohol. It leaves parts looking new!

Just get an air compressor, I have one that goes to 240 psi and that blasts everything off you can imagine.
