Anyone know the best brake pads to use? I'm using the Kyosho soft red pads but I seem to run out of brakes pretty fast.

Hi,

Why don't you try the Kyosho IFW330 optional brake pad set?
I use the Kyosho APP brake pad on my rrr evo2 and seems to be lasting very well. Not sure if it will fit the R4 but i think the IFW330 seems to be cheaper than the APP set.

Those pads are for the 1/8 scale off road. I don't think they'll fit.

Paul

Try Futaba Pro Shop in Japan

http://www.pro-s-futaba.co.jp/store/...5njm7l7dem1u45

It seems to me that Kyosho has walked away from on-road racing like many others to other areas of more demand and easier sales.

Does anyone have a weight reference chart for Kyosho springs? Would like to cross reference to the other springs I have.

The prototype version of the new R4 Evo 2 chassis won the 2018 1/10 GP Japan Nationals. Have a look at the video below.

Very good for an old "plastic" car..
Do you know if in Japan nationals they use additives?

As far as i am aware, tyres used were the Controlled Matrix tyres and they are kept in a strict area (no taking in and out of the box). From this, i would assume no tyre additives were allowed.
