what the best centax clutch for 1/10th scale i have and mtx4r looking for a good clutch system.

Looks like any other 3 shoe centax, only the weights stay flat to the flywheel instead of moving away.

I like this. Im gonna give my opinion on it. Its going to be very more direct action. When the fly weights must fly out and also go straight up the pin I feel it creates a delay. This delay makes a wider sweet spot in my opinion. Im not knocking it, I may favor the smaller sweet spot. But I was amazed how this delay worked so well.

Just my thoughts on it. I love negatives thoughts on mine. Its how I learn.

That was my 1st impression also but yes the axial movement on the pin is causing a lot of friction on the flyweight.

If the MTX4 clutch of the topic starter is pretty stock it would be wise to play with different setups as different flyweights and springs, there is a lot to get out of a stock clutch.

I have 2 of these cars and i have the stock clutch with an orion heavy duty spring and it works fine.
