Default Anodizing Lock Nuts?

I am just wondering if a Anodizing shop could take standard color ny lock nuts and anodize them without wrecking the Ny.

Nope, the nylon cant hold up to the process the anodizing shops use.

it seems like it would be cheaper/easier to just buy them already colored
