Exactly what is that number on the bottom/left side of the PRO Lap Counter screen?

Fastest lap so far is 13.000 exactly.

I already managed a 12.700, so perhaps there isn't a secret GO-GO-GO button.
I've been pushing a couple of times quite fast till the 2 min mark, but then a ICQ pop-up or something comes on the screen
And then there are those bloody Windows programs that start reading something from the harddrive suddenly making the game halt for some tenths of a second
It's not easy to race...

Sing, you mean the # deal? I really don't know, but as there will be a lot of ppl playing at one time, I believe it may be your starting place in that "heat" or something...

I was using the big block and managed a 13.5, if you guys say the elite is faster, I guess I'll have to try it.

Game is fun! Who needs a GeForce 4

The purple 'counter' at the bottom is a replica of their Personal Lap Counting System. You can buy one at almost any hobby shop. The #xx does nothing for the game...it is really telling you the transponder # you are running on. The PLC you can buy allows you to change this number to match the transponder you use. I'm guessing this is just a feature here to make it seem a little more real....

I've been only getting, 13.450 laps, I can't believe people are running 12.750 and below. And 15 laps is unbeliveable!! I just miss 14 laps.

Just got the magical 14 - in 3:13.3, so go figure how tight it was!

I'd been on the pace a couple of times before but brain fades (like I always get in races) meant I kept cutting corners.

I think a session in a darkened room, with plenty of herbal tea and calming music is in order!

Do you guys use the Brick Batteries? What is the performance like? What is the difference between the Brick Batteries and normal NiMH cells?

Kevin - your definitely running quicker than me then - I've got down to a 14 3:10-ish, and I definitely don't see much more pace in me.

Do you reckon that a tight line is quicker than a sweeping line? I do.

Anyone found a better setup than elite mod, 7.2v, performance chassis and soft springs?

can't seem to break 13 laps! best lap is 13.099, so i'm guessing a liittle more practice a a lot more consistency....

im always off line at the hairpin after the first curve, making me really offline for the next lefthander... and that circle thing! can't make it round nicely.... did it once though, can't repeat it...

great fun.... read the orion forums? some are saying that the more you play, the faster the cars get... but some are saying that the more apps you got loaded, the slower the game plays, and could get you in the 12+ lap times....

teemu is up there in the a-main... anyone here beat him yet?
