I am not a Losi guy but this is a great video from Adam Drake on how to set up your Losi shocks with the foam compansators.

anything is better than a truggy...the last cool truggys were rc10t and xxxt

The idea behind this, is that the front shock volume is smaller, therefore the bladder volume needs to be smaller to get the same rebound.
I've found it to be opposite. The rear shock shaft takes up more amount of space at full compression.

I've cut my foams in half and that works just dandy for me.
