I don't believe their are any current touring cars on the rc market that are 2 wheel drive unless you make your own by cutting a belt or cutting your shaft....but yes drifting is better with a 4 wheel drive it gets boring after a while though

Yes drifting is better in 4wd (RC wise).

However, it is hard to drift nitro cars. Since the response time isn't really instant. To add to that, it will be very hard on your clutch.

I drift my nitro MT (stadium truck) and it really isn't that bad on the clutch. It's not great on it but I have found I get worse wear doing other stupid stuff. (that isn't drifting)

If you have an MIP clutch( the one with the 3 holes) using the first hole, it grabs really early, so you do have a pretty good response time, although nowhere near what electrics response time is.

You must be thinking about the Yokomo MR4TC-SD Drifter Chassis. It is 4wd.

If it were 2WD then it would be really hard to control. It would be so loose, you'd spin out once you start to counter steer.
