Whats up...

It seems to be just as expensive as cars lol

A good set of tools, versus a cheap one...
It may seem expensive as a startup, but when you consider how many hours of enjoyment and performance racing you get, then it's not bad at all. You get a whole day of enjoyment for very little once you are up and running. The problem isnt so much the car but the preipheral accessories that you need to keep it going.
You do need to invest 2500 to have a race kit with tools, engines/motors and alike to be certain you'll have a good time. Once you get over the hump then the costs taper off. We lose a lot of newbies because they buy "hobby" spec cars and end up spending twice to three times as much keeping it going and only get 1/2 the pleasure.
