Would the Sakura XI rear shock tower be a direct fit for this?

If the front toe is set like at your car, the inner knuckle arm will very soon touch the lower suspension arm, thus limiting the degree of steering.
I hope this was understandable...

Built per the instructions, the Zero S does have a lot of toe-in. I ran it that way for a few races and i didn't have any issues with steering throw or the lack thereof.
I'm currently working on bringing the toe-in to something that doesn't look that severe. I was at the track when i started this, but i'll throw the car on my setup station and see what kind of numbers i'm at and where i want to go.
With all that toe-in on a VTA ride, i didn't notice any adverse effects. But i suspect i'm scrubbing off a bit of speed even though i'm finishing top 5 and turning some pretty consistent laps.

Check the location of the ball stud on your steering knuckles. Per the instructions it should be in the hole closest to the rear of the chassis. That may or may not have an effect on your steering.
I've never messed with that adjustment so brighter minds than mine can tell you what effect it will have on steering.
