My last Dinball order cost $17 to ship and it took 7 weeks. That's unacceptable. The Expedited shipping option for me was $40+ for 6-10 day delivery.

I guess the Netherlands has different shipping options from Hong Kong.

Given my level of driving skills, i don't want or need to spend over $300 for a kit.
I got my kit to race 17.5 TC. After I tried it I was so happy with it I got another one to replace my TC3 to run 21.5. Also I only need 1 extra supply of spare parts. Keep in mind that 3 cars are still cheaper than a TC6.

Upgrades: I got the vertical motor mount, a must if you race and need to change pinions quickly, stock top deck needs some mod to fit. Aluminium shocks are nice, easier to set ride hight. I also got 4mm aluminium hubs, aluminium steering, narrow lipo graphite chassis but these are not really needed to run the car.

At ease with your LHS would be the best thing you can have, but when i buy a new or different car then i have at a shop i want to know if that same shop holds spare parts for the car so i won't have to order overseas.
I got the car second hand just 3 months old with all options with it
Paid only $215 for the car with all it's spares
Sad part here in Holland is that there is no shop that holds the Sakura at all so i always have to order abroad.
I just started shopping online and had only 1 bad experience with a US seller that took 3 months to settle.
For the rest of the shopping i had only positive experience with it.

Some of us who have been around a while don't really have a problem ordering online or from overseas. I've ordered from dinball on eBay and had no issues at all. But, i've been at this a while and knew exactly what i wanted.

I think beginners would be more at ease ordering from Tower, Stormer, A-Main or even a LHS like Superior Hobbies in Florida who have an online ordering system.

Heck, 3x $110 = a WHOLE lot cheaper than a LOT of current touring cars.

Granted, all that aluminum and carbon fiber is nice, BUT, what noob wants to drop over $300 or even $400 on one car for their first attempt at touring car racing.

Thanks for the info!

It is possbile that there is much more "posttraffic" in the US than here in the Netherlands. Xmass here starts after december the 5th since we first cellibrate Sinterklaas (a dutch youthfest same as Santa Claus). Holliday season starts in most other countries in October.
When I order at RCMart it takes 10 days from ordering to receiving. Depends also on the size of the package. If I order a kit it takes a week longer.

You should buy the SAK-U05.
This is the one that secures your spur with screws and eleminates wobble of your spur when not correcly shimmed out.

You could try mushroom for those parts.
They have them in stock.
Also have seen some one who had the front bulkhead covers at the rear and had a TRF416 shocktower mounted on it.
It gives you a more rigid rear end.
