Thanks for the info joat, it doesn't look like i would need much for the lx1e besides front shock tower, body mounting post, front bumper new wheels and a body. Has any run these 1/8 conversions as a rally car? I never seen this class up here in Massachusetts so all this is new to me, I just learned about it in RC Driver magazine. But on road is pretty big in Puerto Rico and I am hoping to bring a 1/8 beast with me when I head out there.

I honestly dont see any difference if it was ran as a Rally car between the LX1, gtp2e and a dirt oval OFNA...Just a few tweeks in suspension, tires and body seem to be the only difference by eyes... As for actually setting up, motor and esc and gearing of your choice to your driving behavior and conditions... But car and chassis wise...Not much difference. The OFNA is quite a versitle car between classes... But do the home work and find out if there is any differeces for sure. But the lx1 and GTP2e has the same manual dirt oval has different gearing and shocks to my knowledge... Hope that helps Bori... Yeah, Im rican too!

Thanks a lot my dude, I just ordered every thing I need to convert the LX1E. It cost me about $145.00 for it all including a viper body. I have the XERUN 80 amp esc and 2250 kv motor in it right now, any Idea whats a good pinion to run with this set up? I left the original 14t in for off road, how high can I gear up for on road?

What the difference between GT1 and GT2? Any recommendations for a 1/8 on-road kit? I was checking out the ofna gtp2e for the price.

As for bodies, I like the Nissan 350Z or Toyota Supra - is this available?

I posted these pics already in the electric GT thread, but figured I'd put them up here as well. Just waiting for my replacement RX to show up and she'll be ready to go.

This is mainly just a picture thread. For all the info on 1/8 GT you could ever want check out this thread: http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...-electric.html

1/8 GT generally come in 325mm buggy wheelbase (Ofna GTP, DM-1 Spec, Inferno GT1) or the longer 360mm truggy wheelbase (Inferno GT2).

The GTP2e seems to be quite a popular choice as it's a solid vehicle, reasonably priced, and ready for electric right out of the box.

As for bodies, there are a lot more available for the 325mm wheelbase, including a huge selection by Deltaplastic. Check out IGT Hobbies in my signature, Bill can get you any of them. The aren't cheap, but awesome bodies and tons to choose from.
