I used Top Photon shocks on my TM RS.
As it is all red i liked to do the shocks also red so i bought the Photon V2 set.
Only thing you need to change is the bottum spring retainer and the ball cup.
If you want to use the top TM ball cup it could be used but you get a little play without any leakage.
They served me this season without any problems and they look great on the car
cheers Roy

Are these the ones?

If not, could you please provide me with a part number.
As to the white damper plates.
What do you mean by this?
Are you refering to the plates that are on the piston, with two or three holes in 'em?
If so, again please provide me with a partnumber for these white ones.
Why are these better than the black ones?
Are the black ones, that apparently are so awful, still in the shock set nowadays?

I've ran Tamiya shocks on cars for many years... and they are silky smooth as long as you build them with the TRF blue o-rings. Until a year ago I would have sworn TRF's are the only way to go however, I was surprised at how easy the Serpent S411 V1 shocks are to build consistently. Running them back-to-back with similarly built TRF shocks I went back to the Serpent shocks on my car as I found them performing better at least on my Serpent car.

When I bought these set some years ago, it was comming with all the white parts (added to the stock black parts).
Maybe you should buy blue o-ring too (42215)
