Default TT-01 motor opinions?

Hey everyone, I am pretty new to the hobby, I bought the Subaru Impreza TT-01 kit a little while back. I have just recently finished doing a full aluminum build on a 3Racing FRP chassis. I am still running the stock TT-01 motor, I would like to put something quicker in it and I am wondering what you guys would suggest.

I was looking at a eZrun 13t brush-less motor with the 35a esc. I have no idea if this is a good idea. I am worried it will just shred my gears. I don't know off hand what I put in for the spur and pinion gears. I think a 56t spur and a 21 or 22t pinion.

For the record I don't race, this is all for my own pleasure.

I own the 9T motor with the 35A esc. I would go for the 8.5T or 5.5T motor with 60A esc.

The 9T is a 380 motor in a 540 casing. and you can't really upgrade to a faster motor because the esc is limited to 9T.
