yes as it turns out it WAS a mistake... a guys young kid (too young to know what it was) loaded it up in their truck. And the guy noticed it this morning when unloading and called the track and will return it.... what a relief and thank goodness for honest people...

mo that is certainly great news on several levels...glad you have the buggy and piece of mind back. also nice to see that you were looking on the positive side and not jumping to conclusions ready to blame "some thief". although the latter is easy to do with all the thefts that have been going on in our hobby as of late, and no one would be able to blame you for it. mo....your a good man !

thanks man, I try to stay on the upside of things.. and knew it couldnt have been taken from anyone that knows me, cause if they did all they had to do is ask... But I realize that there are thieves out there and not so stand up people around tracks here and there, this is a big hobby/sport and they come out no matter what you do.... I have had stuff stolen in the past out of a car that got broken into so I have dealt with it before. But there is no point getting upset over it... its one of those "if I see that person face to face" type scenarios....
alot of people including myself put alot of time and pride into this hobby and even though this event turned out for the better, there are people that have not been so lucky. its staying on the positive side of things that makes it worth while..

Glad to hear you got your rig back... I feel for ya. At the Cape Fear Invitational, my pit man accidentally left my Exergen temp gun on the pit wall, and someone walked off with it. I was upset that it was gone, but even more pissed that someone would steal it.

When Jamie made his rather "blunt" announcement after the raffle & door prize giveaways, it turned up later that night. The teenager who had taken it apparently had second thoughts...that, or his dad found out about it.

Either way, I was relieved, and it was just a temp gun....I can imagine how happy you are to get an entire buggy back!.

You're damned right there are....but we never make the front page....there's far more good than bad.... decent folk leading honest lives....I dig Mo's 'tude...as it parallels mine, good before bad.
