Default F103RM price check

My LHS has an F103RM BNIB for sale. It belongs to the owner who never built it. When I asked how much he said "a hundred something, whatever they go for now." Is it worth getting? Or would another kit, F10 or F104 be better?

The 103 is as good a handling car as you can buy. The 104 is current for TCS racing if that's what you want to do! But for F-1 club racing -- it's as good as it gets!! LOT'S of parts availability still---but tell the LHS owner---it's NOT the current car---so he SHOULD discount it a little. I've been picking these up built but in EXCELLENT condition for around $125.00 ---with ALL the hopups on them!!
FYI

New in box, no hop ups, I'd pay $75 or $80. New they could be had for $98 from RC Champ. They might even have some in stock.

The F103 is an awesome car. It only needs two hop-up parts to be race ready.

Some good turnbuckles and a TRF shock. I have a few extras on mine, but those are really the two you want to have if you plan on racing.
