Thanks! We've been there watching nearly every Saturday, and put in some first turn marshalling duties. Dang, burshless cars are FAST!!!!! I'm hoping to bring along a few friends of mine from work that want to get back into racing, too.

I just got my TC3 out of storage and back into one piece and a bright yellow Camaro shell put on it with some Jaco blues for shoes ready for DRCW Muscle Car, so I'll probably be out there Monday turning some laps to try to get dialed in some. Thankfully I still have plenty of spare parts, I think I may need them!

For 1/10th mod, there is no tire spec? am I correct?

Also, two more questions;

1. - Battery Tech, what are the specifics? Hard Case and ?? Edit (I answered my own question - Voltage - helps if you read the thread)

2. - Pit Area, do I have to bring a canopy, table etc, or are they covered with tables? Trying to get a feel for how much crap I have to bring down or if I can pack light.

Thanks in advance.

Plenty of inside pit area with electicity and pit tables. No need for canopy and table unless you wanna be outside. No spec tire in Mod

As far as batteries go, they follow ROAR rules. Hard case LiPo and voltage checks. No LiPo sacks required.

I would bring a table and chair, a drop cord just in case. There is room inside to set up your table and chair, but you need a drop cord to get power. If you pit outside, you definitely need a drop cord.

The control tire info needs to be decided and announced.

What are the rules for Stock Touring?; is it 17.5 open esc or 17.5 esc on spec mode?

Also, for Vintage, what are the rules?; 21.5 open esc or 21.5 spec mode or 25.5? weight? I guess I should just ask if you are running straight from the USVTA Rules right?

BTW; Thanks to the guys that show up yesterday at Manassas, looking forward to race at your track!

If you guys get some RCGT racers I'm all for it too!

Our 17.5 class is open esc/boosted. Not sure about spec tires for our trophy race though.

Spoke with Eric, Travel trailers are good for the Halloween race for out of towners. No power though. Will need generators for power. We have inside power for racing though.

Thanks. It looks like many from Manassas are interested in coming.

For the guys out of town the inside pit tables are high so stools are used for the most part. If the turn out is large you might consider bringing a table, chair and extension cord to be safe.

I hope to have some more of the cookies and brownies from the last time I visited.

So what are the rules for the following classes:
1/10 stock boosted or non-boosted, spec or open tire, weight 1425?
1/10 mod open tire?
VTA ?
Nitro

Suggestion:
If you decide to spray the track you might want to think about doing it Friday, as with the colder temps it may take longer to dry in the morning which will cause for a delayed start time.

Also is it possible before the race to paint the plow discs a different color?

I'm going to talk with Jeff and see if he wants to come down so we might have to do the 4 man lift.

I will be 1 of the 4. And if you wanna come paint the dots come on down with your paintbrush Due to the facility next door. We have to spray day of race. I will get there extra early for track prep.

17.5 boosted- weight 1420, 8.4 volts on battery- spec tire will be released the day of event. I think they dont want people trying the tire before raceday and have an advantage.
mod- open tire, 8.4 volts on battery
nitro- bring it
vta- pm Tim Charvat- flyntrtle for rules for this class
