The Castle system, although uncensored, actually worked great. I remember that I had to change the springs right away as the damn thing would nose over and land on its back every time I hit our big triple. If I'm not mistaken the TT has a pillow ball front suspension which I liked. It also has that chainsaw sound that 4 wl SCs have. It must have been about 6 years ago when it came out originally. West Coast RC had a full class of them for a while.
Thanks for the info. Too bad there really aren't any other 1/10 truggies on the market today.

OK, Hyper TT ordered. At $189.99 shipped from Tower, too cheap not to buy.

This is a question for those who used to own a 10TT and then purchased the re-released version:

What is noticeably different regarding the truggy? Do you see any improvements?

Frickin' hilarious. I drove back home on Christmas Eve and found a nice big box from Tower. Waited until the kids went to sleep, and then eagerly dug into the box Santa brought me.

Turned out to be a plastic model airplane Tower accidentally sent me instead of the Hyper TTe

Tower let me keep the airplane (not sure what I'm going to do with it), and I finally got the truck today. All wired up this afternoon, just gotta paint the body and glue the wheels.

Nice truck so far!

Elite RC shut down a while back. Good luck finding one.

Good looking set up man! What motor is that?

I run the tekin Rx8 in my jammin truck. Had a 4600 in it, but was too much. Just slid a older tekin red can scx motor in to try...

Brandon stopped making those a couple years ago, AFAIK, there is nothing similar (with the slider mount) specifically made for this truck but you could possibly adapt an equivalent mount (like the one from a Tekno, SCTE or Losi 8, and there may be others) if you have metal working tools and skills.

Thanks! It's an SMC Racing 4500kV 4-pole 540 can. Pretty cheap at $60 --

Truck is all done and ready to hit the track!

Sounds similar to the Tekin pro4 4600...

She looks great w a lid on! I'll try to get my photos uploaded tomorrow, and get a few posted. I have almost the exact same paint scheme... Except mine is purple on white

Nice, I had an extra can of blue and purple, and it was kinda a tossup on which to use. The sides are actually white, not silver like it looks in the pic.

First trip to the track did not end well. Got in about 10 laps before I hit the wall on the fast sweeper and cracked the steering knuckles. Oh well, Integy aluminum replacement on the way, hopefully that will add some durability.

Setup-wise the truck's going to need some tuning, main thing is I had to lower steering EPA to about 75% left/right before stuff hits... is that normal?
