Hi Drew,

Did this give your car more high speed steering at all?

Thanks,

Antoni

Maybe the wheelbase will help and the ackerman also. But I would try going up in diff oil 1000 is pretty lite. When I ran 1000 my car had a on power push. Went to 2000 filled at it was better.

How much front droop are you running.

Thanks Drew

Thanks for the answer Drew I have gone back to kit setup with long front wheelbase so i will give that a go. I re-built my gear diff last night with all new parts and now it is waaaaay smoother. So now i know why i need to go heavier oil Ill give both a run on the weekend. Im running 6front 5rear droop on Hudy Blocks.

Thanks,

Antoni

Peter what up, been busy will call you soon. Yes I have ran a spec-r diff and a Xray prototype. Xray is working on something and trying to get a diff out that they are happy with. I liked 2000 the best in my car.

Thanks Drew

Hey Drew,

This is a quote from Matin Hudy "for the L and H roll centers, only position 3 (according to manual) should be used. The other holes are for roll-center #303032. Please see manual page 18. It is explained there"

Can you run the H roll centers down and in on the front? This might be a stupid question, but you are running it this way correct?

Yes that is how I am running them. And Martin says its wrong. The H stands for higher link but in the spot I have it. The link is lower. Hard to explain on here. You can run the links Land H's were ever you want. I know its tricky as for me I am still try to figure it all out, but thats were I put them and it seemed to work really well on carpet.

Thanks Drew

I'm surely not the driver that Martin, Paul or Drew are but sometimes it is hard to argue with what works. I ran the L1/2 outdoors in the low/long position on spec Solaris hard rubber tires because it was faster than every other combo I tried.

I agree with Mike, I do think that at one time I tried either the H or L in one of the positions and it did cause a bind issue with the bulkhead, but the one that Drew reconmends, if oriented correctly has no clearance issues. Drew you have to post a pic, as your correct, its just to hard to explain.

Here it is guys. Took the pic with my phone, think it will be clear enough. The gridding on my bulkhead was from testing the hill billy link.

Thanks Drew
