Brand new,it's a special edition sieg sx2, it's a pretty decent mill once gone thru and adjusted etc, if you want a small mill out of the box that's ready go with a sherline ,smaller though and not as much power
For sieg machines sold at grizzly ,harbor freight, travers etc
x0 -micro mill
x1 mini mill
x2 -older model
sx2 - super x2 -brushless -sold at micromark.com
sx2 super special x2, sold at Littlemachineshop.com, bigger table then sx2
I have a Sieg made grizzly 7x12 lathe , my runout is .0005 or less typically,.0002,it's been modded alot ,but no cnc yet
For info go here -
http://www.mini-lathe.com/Mini_mill/...%20SX2/SX2.htm
What I bought
http://littlemachineshop.com/3900 and this too

Just be aware, it's bigger then you think , I also just ordered these too, I should have ordered everything 1 time , dammit
1212 Drill Chuck, 1/2" 9.95 $9.95
2258 Air Spring Conversion Kit $39.95
3771 Test Indicator Holder, Professional Quality $17.95
2635 Tweaks & Enhancements Kit™, Mini $29.95
The air spring kit is just a nice mod, that wont bolt onto the sx2 or ssx2 ,but on the mini-lathe.com site he added one using the kit,I wish they had the better drill chuck in stock ,the tweak kit is not really needed, but I can use the other stuff somewhere else for something else ,but the self locking set screws are really nice to have.

Back on topic.... What are people doing to keep the rear from sliding as you give it power coming around a turn???

A center diff does wonders to solve this. Then fine tuning with diff oils of thicker or thinner viscosities. 100k is what I've seen most start out with. Traction and driving style will decide if you go thicker or thinner.

You can contact Lee at Winner's Circle RC and pick up a pair of the new wide GT rear slicks. More rubber = a lot more traction when you need it most.
Good Luck!

Thats cool man, looking at the photo posted above, they look brand new never been used.
What camber & roll center settings are you running?
Maybe try to make adjustments in camber to achieve an even patch across the slick's surface area.
What weight rear diff oil are you running?
Sometimes, too thick diff oils don't allow the rear to rotate around turns, causing the car to drag or break the tires loose.
You can also try changes in your droop settings, think weight transfer.
Also, what shores are you running?
You're in Texas correct, your temps are in the 40s to 60 degree range right now, yes?
It is possible you are running too hard or a summer shore rating.
More rear rubber is a given, real factory hot rods come with wider rear tires; it physics.
Let me know some more about your set-up, I'm more than to happy to try to help you.
Hope to race with you next October at our USGT Nationals at Mike's.
Thanks.

Funny. Its your tires that I am having problems with I dont think just a little more rubber is the answer. I dont have that problem with my GT-2. It hooks up just fine no matter what tire I use. Well I think the center diff might be the way to go with all that torque from that 2250kv im running

Looking for a decent mounted balanced wheel and tire set that is black for my GTP-2e. I dont want to break the bank but do want it to be grippy for speed runs. Im not racing...just having fun.
Could you guys suggest something that is rasonably priced and in stock. Ebay amain or whatever.
