You are comparing apples and oranges now. off course the 2650 puts out les power, it's a smaller motor. You should compare a 1512 to a 4030 and a 1515 to a 4038.

Also the Tekin 2650 is a Delta and the Castle 1515 is a Wye.

I guess the experience on ESCs is different for everybody.

Both the Castle MMP and Tekin RX8 are known for their tendency to fail. (Even the MMM had issues in the early days) The difference is that, to my knowledge, the RX8 problem is solved, there might be older versions still on shelves though. The MMP I don't know about if that is solved by now. I do know that both my MMPs are retired. One is dead, the other has issues. My RX8 however is still going strong. In the end it's still electronic equipuipment, so it can break down.
Again, if you want a higher chance of succes then go for the Hobby Wing Xerun. I see little to no issues with those but you should try and find out yourself before you buy.

I have another 4092 2600kv to put in another race boat for the 2013 season.

2-3? Huh LoL. I had one fail out of 3 cars running Tekins and tekin sent me a brand new one sealed in box in a week. Once I replaced stock fans on my tekins no more over heating issues.
Ran heats and mains on 130 degree tracks geared high 42/20 and no problems.
Only bought a MMP to replace the tekin untill it came back now it's in my SC10

As for MMM. I need 2 hands to show you how many failed but castles customer service is top notch. Tekins is great too but 12month MMM warranty vs 4 month tekin is a big difference. Both company's electronics are good and both can fail like any other brand.

I agree though KV for KV Mambas are faster.

I have been hearing too many stories of failed ESC's. I had my 4th MMM fail (in less than two years) last week. I admit one of them was my fault after getting it wet but the other 3 were completely random failures. I think I am done with MMM ESC for a while. The momba motors are awesome and have all worked flawlessly but I have had enough with the ESC's. Castles service is great though. I am going to be replacing the MMM ESC's I have left with something else now. I think I want to see how the XERUN systems work. I have heard nothing but good about them. Even people switching from Tekin and Castle because they preffer the XERUN systems.

Default Subaru and Porsche Bodies from Deltaplastik

I was hellbent on getting a nice subaru and porsche body for my GTP2e and ended up ordering them direct from Deltaplastik. They came in today! Both appear to be a good fit. The Subaru one is pretty nice but its the generation 1 wrx/impreza body (1998/1999 ish) which I like very much but would have preferred a generation 2 or 3 body. The Porsche 911 body however is AWESOME, pretty sure its modeled after a mid 90's 911 widebody, and it fits perfectly.

I also picked up the T-Bone racing rally front bumper, this combined with the Subaru body will be really nice, should be able to take mild jumps no problem. The stock front bumper is great for speed but thats not really what am interested in, 50mph or so is fine for me. I dont think the rally bumper will be a problem up to about 60 or so.

Time to trim and paint, more pics to come

TYVM!

Subaru body works great, put it towards the top of the body posts for good clearance. With the T-Bone front bumper it runs like a scale rally car, took some decent jumps today no problem, lots of fun!

Porsche body almost complete, stay tuned!
