Another option would be for you to lose the attitude and put both the 15 and 16 tooth in your car and see if it meshes.

Are you running with timing boost or no?
No boost- 13.5 in the 7.0-8.0 range and 10.5 in the 7.5-8.5 range
Those are just starting points.

Kyosho 1000 oil is good choice,
or Xceed 1200, Kyosho 1300 !

I would say, if running no boost, then use a FDR of around 5 for 13.5 and around 5.5-6 for 10.5.

That would be a (if using a 84 spur with an internal gearing of 1.9) 31-32 teeth pinion and a 29 teeth pinion for 10.5

I had to put in a .5mm spacer between the saver spline and the servo shaft.

when you cut one side off the ears off the servo what else do you use to secure it

Double sided tape usually. I cut both ears off mine and stuck it down with shoe goo, makes it a breeze to position and frees up some more space

I use 3M VHB double sided tape to secure my electronics in various RCs. If you clean both surfaces with alcohol it will hold extremely well. It is a little thick but it holds better than anything else I have tried.
