Xray T3 2011

There will always be people who will buy the latest even if there is no big change in the design. They just want the latest!

Yeah True....
but I can't imagine that market share is a big one.

Next version should be a lot better for me to bite. Otherwise, I would likely just go with an Exotech chassis plate as the most significant improvement shown to date.

some day I hope to be the smartest man in RC, until then, I will buy whatever I want, when I want.

I have bought a new ride every year for the past 3 years. 08, 09 & T3. The great thing about Xray is they hold their value well. I sell my car for $250 bucks on Ebay every year within 24 hours and only pay another $200 for a brand new fresh kit. It would cost me almost that much to replace most of the parts that need to be freshened up for another season.

You may not be the smartest man in R/C but lets try to learn something about finance. You could spend all the money you have and it still will not make you a better driver. It may take some time to learn this concept but just keep thinking about it over the years as the money pour out of your pocket. Is the new and improved really worth it?

It doesn'tbother me that some people want the latest toy to have something new to play with. It is a little concerning that there are plenty of people out there that think the changes in the last 3 generations of X-Ray chassis can be felt by anyone but a seasoned racer.
I spend my cash on tyres, batteries and motors. The day I can out-wheel the potential of my car is the day i'll upgrade.
