I think he means an 'R' version, like the T3R, with FRP instead of carbon fibre etc.

You may well find there won't be one and the T3R will still be the 'budget' version.

Can someone tell me what a good starting point would be for gear diff oil in the front and back. The track is medium traction outdoor asphalt. Also was looking for an explanation in regards to which way to go if you need more rear traction.. example thicker or thinner oil?? thanks

I would put 600 or 700 cst for the rear to start ,the front i've been running 500,000 cst . as far as oil goes the thinner the oil the more traction you gain. hope this helps?

The outdrives on the Spec R stick out a little bit more meaning you have to run 50mm driveshafts (or widen the rear track at the wishbones), but other than the outdrive issue you can use both.

Does anyone know if you can run the 52mm bones at the front with the arms spaced out 1.25mm instead of kit 1.5mm without them binding in the spool cups?

the front standard are 52mm i thought??? did you mean you want to narrow up the front end?? and if your using the composite spool dont use the
shaft caps it says this in the book

I'm wanting to know if the internal gears of the Spec-R can be used in a Xray gear diff? They look they have the same number of teeth.

I run always 1mm spacer with 52mm shafts, no problems to report
