The EP cells are not the only cells to have the self disharge problems. They IB cells do this same thing. Not all EP cells are bad on this as well. I have done some long term self dicharge testing on these tihngs and the problem is not as bad as it sound! Long term storage. (2 weeks or more) required a decent charge on the cells. Some self discharge harder then other but we are not talking about dead cells in a couple days here!

As long as the cells are not stored with no charge (ie taking them down to .9V) and then stored for days then this is really not a problem. For stock racing I just run the pack for 6-7 min runs and then store it. For mod if you are getting any where close to dumping the pack put some more charge back in them. Since you are just adding in a partial charge you should not need to equalize the pack prior to charging it back up. Just extra time and cycles IMO. And for what it is worth I have seen and played with few of these batteries myself!

I'm 80% sure that you can, since it uses micro electronics.

I inquired a week and half ago on the site.

I have to agree that by the looks of the website, and the fact that I didn't hear back from them on when stuff would be available, that they are done.

You would think that somethng on the site would say they are coming back soon if they in fact planned on coming back.

The folks at the shop are away from it until at least monday. They are on business. Sit tight and I am sure they will take care of you.

John even the email address Fusion used for sales/billing has been turned off ?!?

Again if they are truly going to take care of us cool, but this method is very bad for business.

Dont get carried away with the speculation. Like John said, they are out of town right now. Be patient. They have always been on time outherwise. Relax.
