Or just put a some weight there with doublesided tape, as someone already suggested. Those are 2 solutions if you do not want to buy any special part from the old car.

The battery support with servo mounts works very well, I have been using it for 2 years without one single problem. It is a very neat and simple solution that lets you adjust according to battery size (remember to leave a small gap to not tweak the car) and battery position.

Don't make a problem out of a non-problem. At least not until you have tested it.
+1 been using the servo mount support, had crashes and no issues.

This is a general setup question for my 416XL car.
My car is not rotating very fast in the slow tight section on the track I race at. I have finally got my car to feel very stable on the high bite carpet track I race at.
My question is, should I focus on the rear of the car or front of the car setup to get the car to rotate better in the slow section of the track?
I feel the car does not respond to small setup changes at all. Is this common for this car?

Mugen i would personally focus on letting the back of the car slide a little to help it rotate

If i put the new top deck onto a trf417x am i right in thinking that i will need to drill 2 holes in it so it screws into the layshaft mount as i wont have the layshaft mounts with the extra pegs on the bottom
