I like my car a lot. After seeing some at the Halloween Classic and advise from others, I am in the middle of going through mine right now. Can't wait to run it again, and that's coming from a guy that despised 12th scale for ever, lol

I know there are some "side piece" rebel drivers out there. Hopefully they will speak up publically soon.

I know Mike ODonnell (OD) will be at the Timezone GP this weekend if you want to see this 3+ year old (but fantastic) car. My vote is that OD will tq 17.5 stock

Whoa! too much pressure! If there are 21 entries in 17.5 I can definitely see the possibility of a CQ

Yah, I know. Anyone who has pitted near FJ at a race knows his kidding can reduce strong men to tears. I'm not that strong but I am hard of hearing

Kits are in stock and flying out the door lately

After playing with most 12th scales I have chosen the rebel. The front end is the best out IMO. Now if the chassis did a better job of holding the battery it would be perfect.

ProTip: you can buy another of the black plastic battery holders and shoegoo them together and use slightly longer screws to bolt the assembly in. That should help.

Also, I always use 3M thin clear two-way tape (it's like scotch tape, but two-sided) to secure the battery underneath to prevent it from sliding around.

I had Damon at Diggity Designs measure my plastic battery holder & make me one in CF...sells them on his website. Works great for those times when I may not have the battery taped in as well as I should...

Very cool. I don't know if any of our team is aware of this. Can you send a link?

I'd be willing to try one out.

And, yes, this car is still flawless on the track. Still killing it with this hot rod. The front end really is the secret to this car's handling.
