I noticed that one of the differences in my current charger is that it only charges up to 4 amps. If i get a charger that can charge 5 or 6 amp rate, will that make a big noticeable difference when im running?? If the diff can only be seen by experts and factory drivers than its fine.

Don't buy a setup board - you drive a XXXS... not really required - get a camber gauge and be happy with it..
There are no "hop-ups" for the XXXSG+ worth buying - it comes with all needed race items.
Charger is a good investment.

If anyone knows some good deals on one, lmk. Thanks for all the help, and charger recommendations would be great, but close to $100 would be best. Later

Sweet Charger at a good price
I think a lot of people would agree that this is good charger and at a good price.

I have 2 CE turbo 35 BL and have they work great. I had an Integy 16x3 pro 2.5 and a couple of false peaks but happy with it.

Check out this charger great planes Triton
I think it's the best charger for the money and it will ever charge litium ion/polymer. it's $129 but you may find it cheaper but well worth the little extra dough. I own the duratrax digital pulse and a ce turbo 35. The Duratrax is a good charger but won't let you change any settings except for charge and discharge rate. The good point's are it will discharge at 10 amps and charge up to 6.5 and it's ac/dc. that's pretty good for a charger that retails for under $100. I do wish I had started with the Triton, it might have delayed the purchase of the turbo 35.
just my .02
don't forget you can use a Car Battery as a power supply until you can afford an ac power supply.

You can get it for $119.99 here: http://www.b-p-p.com/BatteryChargers.htm
The charger is very nice, except it only charges up to 5A and discharges up to 3A.

hey bballer,
with a better charger you can charge at higher rates, with my lrp i charge at 5.5 amps, and the before my race i peak them up at 6.5/7 amps. people may say thats to high and may well shorten the life of the cells but it works for me and some of the guys that i race with, but anyway most good chargers go up to 7amps so you have lots of charging options!!
i agree with trf racer, if lrp put a 30 amp discharge and a motor rpm function on it, it would be the best charger out there
any way these are my thuoghts hope they help you a little,
good luck
