I've heard people mention using Blue Juice or Tribo and soaking the brushes for weeks or MONTHS. Not sure if this "speed trick" is fact or fiction though.

I've seen the same trick as UnderdaHill. They say the lube soaks into the brush which is better than putting it on the comm. I don't know the science behind it, and I've never tried it. Maybe someone can prove/disprove what they say. These guys are some of the faster guys at the track though, so maybe they're onto something?

Soak the brushes in:
1 part Raspberry Jelly (no seeds)
1 part Jack Daniels
3 parts CA
- mix and soak up to 42 pairs of brushes for 12hrs or more. No more than 24 hours or the jelly starts to smell.
This is the true speed secret
<BTW, this doesn't work...I'm just bored at work waiting for 5pm >

Buga, the winner of Big Jim's 19-turn motor tuning contest used this technique, and swears by it. He soaks them in Tribotech.
