Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew of the chemical makeup of the traction compounds. So far I have only found out about the use of the oil of wintergreen in Paragon traction compound, but what other chemicals do they use in order to make these compounds work?

Also, where are metal cans that they use for the traction compounds available? The child safety locks on the paragon stuff dont allow you to tighten the lid down all the way.

Take a screw driver and pop the plastic child protector off. That is the first thing i do when I buy a new can.

Just pop off the plastic piece, and you really don't want to know whats in it.

The Fog

It's about time we woke up to the toxicity of these chemicals. Sure all you cheap guys love the smell and the giggles, but do you really enjoy the hang over, or haven't you picked up on the truth and these are severely addictive fumes. I would sugest going and buying a nice bag of heroin and square up to the need for getting out of yer brain box. Sure enough, I love the smell, but the effect is devestating in the long run.

More comments will follow, 'What about motor spray? ' etc. It just takes one step at a time for us to make the changes that would probably keep us all alive a little bit longer. I certainly want to live for ever and race toy cars to the moon and back.

This is a great topic and I look forward to the insanity to follow.

Products like Paragon are required by the government (OSHA) to provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) upon request. If you really want to know the manufacturer should be able to provide you a MSDS. If not, call OSHA on their ass (haha)

Maybe somebody can find Mike Lufaso. I'm sure he has more than enough knowledge to clue us in.

I am aware of methyl salicylate being used in paragon, but what else is in there?

What about the oderless stuff?
