Guys the D5 is an awesome engine. And to beat that it is comming with a Pipe the exact pipe other companies are charging 70.00 for. Then throw in a 15-20 dollar exhaust cooler and you have a deal that cant be beat!!! Right now I have 1 gallon on my d5 and it is running like a champ.

A 7 port isn't really "overkill" for a buggy. I personally would never run a 7 port again though. They're soft on the bottom, and get terrible mileage. They have nice top end though... Problem is there are a VERY select few tracks that are actually large enough to benefit from the top end. I will take bottom end and fuel mileage over top end any day. The race isn't won on the straight. But it could be won by a more fuel efficient engine. Bottom line and the whole point of my rambling is that there is a common misconception that 7 ports are "overkill" they are not, however they really have no purpose on a typical American style track. There are a few situations where they are favored, but in most cases a 3 or 5 port is the better option.

this 5 port would have been my purchase if they had it back then. the 3 port is a great engine for $150, it has enough bottom for truggy, not crazy bottom just enough. some people think if the tires aren't spinning out at every blip the engine is soft. the top end is good with the 2035. buy one and run it for 5 or more gallons then get another, its not rocket science. the more gallons you get after 5 the better deal it is. if you want to spend $300-$500 at once for an engine go right ahead, these keep up just fine and they don't hit the wallet so hard either, and when they do GO, you just get another.

I ran Go engines for a long time and now running Alpha and I have rebuilt hundreds of the Go motors. The Alpha motors do not look like they are made in the same factory as the Go engines. I have also heard the engineer left Go to start Alpha. The pipes are made by A-plus for both. Both are great engines, I feel the Alpha has more power which to some can be too much.

I posted a question on the PR thread for the D5 anyone on that? Don't want this to sound rude at all but I see you've posted on here since I asked it Janderson. Just bringing it to your attention so I can get a reply if possible. Thanks
