Default Tire Truing - Quick Question

When truing a tire once you get it down to the diameter you want do you use a fine grit sandpaper to smooth it out and round the edges a bit? I've recently gotten into foam tires and never had to mess with it before. I just want to make sure I am doing it right and haven't located a guide for it on the net. If anyone knows of one and can point me in the right direction I would be grateful. Thank you.

use a file or sandpaper to round the edges on outside and inside so you won't have any traction roll problem

Thanks to both of you.

Hey Dan I spent 2 weeks leave down under while I was stuck in Korea for 18 months. Spent a week in Sydney and a week in Melbourne. We didn't see any historic sights but we partied till daylight every night and killed VB's like they were going out of style. Nice place you all have down there and the women were awesome.
