Charger : Reedy or Integy
I'm shopping for a new charger. Looking to get either a Integy 16x7v6 or a Reedy Quasar Pro. What are the differences between the two chargers? Which seems to be a more reliable charger?
If someone has another AC/DC charger in that price range that they recomend, let me know.

16x5 and 16x9 charges 1-10 cells and discharges at 20amps. 16x9 has a built in 110/220 AC/DC 14amp power supply while the 16x5 requires an external 12VDC power supply.
The 16x7 charges 1-8 cells and discharge at 30amps and also has a built in power supply.
The 16x5 and 16x9 has 10 programmable profiles and can measure IR while charging. So if you have lots of different batteries, this will make it easier to charge different batteries packs.
I recently got the 16x5v6 combo that includes a 14amp power supply for $250. It's very nice and easy to use.
I never really considered the Reedy one because there's a recall on them.
The 16x7 charges 1-8 cells and discharge at 30amps and also has a built in power supply.

The 16x7v6 is LOUD! I pitted next to a guy that was using one a few months ago and the fan is very annoying, it pretty much stays on 100% of the time. 
I've got a 16x9v5(previous model) and I'm very happy with it. With the 16x9v6 you can actually run a second charger off it so you wouldn't need to buy a power supply if you ever got a dc only charger.

It might help to know that the Reedy Quasar Pro and the Integy 16x5, 16x7 and 16x9 chargers are all made by Eagle Racing. Have a look at http://www.eaglemodel.com/ for their line of chargers.
Personally, I have owned the Integy 16x9 v5 charger for well over a year and have never once had a problem with mine. This charger has a pair of jacks in the back that I use to power a small second DC charger to keep my transmitter peaked at all times. This is a very nice charger that can also discharge and cycle packs. No memory slots which is a bummer and it is a bit limited in the number of cells it will charge, but is otherwise a great charger.
A club mate runs the DC version of the 16x5 v6 and his charger has also been bullet proof. This charger has better features than mine and can charge 1-10 cells, and does show the IR of packs which is nice. You can also turn the trickle charge off which is something my 16x9 won't allow. The 10 programmable memory slots on this charger also make it very versatile.
The 16x7 chargers had problems in the past and the new v6 version looks nice but the dual fans seem to run all the time and are quite noisy too. I'd buy the 16x5 v6 over this charger if I had the choice.
The Reedy Quasar Pro is OK, but you would need to be sure that the factory upgrade had been performed on any used ones you might be considering. The lack of a backlit LCD also makes reading the display a problem in some conditions. I had one that dies while charging only the third 6-cell pack I tried. I had mine replaced with a new unit from Associated but sold it immediately as I wasn't about to take another chance. I'd pass on the Reedy charger for sure.

I got a 16x7v6
Its not THAT loud doggy...He might have something in the fan cause mine isn't really loud...
I had to admit, when I 1st got it the beep was really loud. I think its been getting quieter since though
