Got the Hookup in the heat??
Turnout should be good, especially after having 98 entries for the Weekend Tournament race. That was pretty awesome!! This weekend will be great for traction as long as the track temp doesn't get over 120 degrees. If ti gets much warmer the tires don't seem to hook up as well.

Saturday's racing
Looks like the weather is going to be fine for this weekends race. We will be featuring 20 minute mains for all the Nitro classes except for Sportsman Gas cars. If they have a full field they will run an 8 minute main. Please check our website for more information - www.eslroc.com

Weather Underground
The ESLROC weather tracker by weather underground. Please check the weather just to make sure we are racing. It is supposed to be nice enough to race but I wanted to put this here for you all just in case. You can find the RACE DAY ONLY track phone number on the schedule & contact pages of the website if you need to call to check the weather at the track.

Great day of racing
What a day for racing! Perfect weather, not too hot, not too cool. overcast with sunbreaks. Then the rain came a few hours after we were finished. There was some great battles on the track all day long. We are racing the next 8 weekends in a row so there will be plenty more racing to come.

September 18th is the final Cup Series points race for 2004
This Saturdays Race will be on the short track format this weekend again. 335' with low 10-14 second laps. Should be some exciting race as this is our last points event for the season. we will run some post season playday races for the following 5 weeks after. This is all contingent on the weather of course.

Weather Permitting
The plan is to decide whether or not to set-up by 10:30am. If it is clearly bad weather we may call it sooner, if it is questionable, we'll wait it out and see what happens. Lets see if we can squeeze the last points race of 2004 in. Come out or call either way, thanks.
