Default tools for specific screw on 8ight buggy

I am wanting a good hex driver for my buggy. I know it would be good to have a whole set, which I do have a whole Dynamite set. But to me they seem to be the base quality type. The main screws on my buggy that I have to turn most often and torque down are the ones on the bottom of the chassis (radio tray, motor mount) and the motor mount screws on top (which I think are the same size as the bottom ones). So basically I just want one driver here. I need to know the size of that screw and whats a good (but not TOO expensive) single driver I can get for those screws? Thanks

Eds tools are great for the $$ but hudy still wins IMO. I have tried many brands. Eds, vp-pro, team magic, dynamite, Proline, team losi, rd logics, mip and im prob forgettig a few And I always go back to hudy. Most of the others are ok for 1/10 stuff but not 1/8. I do still have my 1st set that I ever purchased the dynamite pink/red handle tools. I have broken q few tips but they still work where others have hit the trash. Every time I go cheap I remember why it's worth it to spend the extra $$. Hudy here.

Yea I wouldn't look at cheap brands, but you can't say EDS is bad...

Hudy is only a little bit better than EDS I guess, I also heard that it is as good a hudy, but price is higher too.

Anyway, I use EDS tools for my buggy and I like them very much. And you won't brake anything if you only need a driver for the chasis screws...

You can get a set cheap at a hardware store to work for the time being. A decent set shouldn't cost more then $5-10 locally. But if you want some really nice tools then the ones suggested are the best you'll find.

No EDS are ok with me. The power driver tips were a little tight but thats not necessarily bad.

BTW 99% of the screws on the losi cars are either 3/32 or 5/64, you will need a 1/16 and a .050. I also use a 2mm sometimes too.

Ok. I will look into some of these. Im just wanting one driver here, so if I pay like $15 for one Hudy driver thats fine.

But I never really got a specific on what size I need for the motor mount screws and the screws on bottom that hold the radio tray on.....

Hudy is the best by far, but if you don't go that route, the Duratrax blue handles are actually really good.

dont waste your money on hudy.
They were the fastest to wear out of any wrenches ive had.
The dynamite tools you have are good tools, all my blown out hudys have dynamite tips in them now.
Stick with silver tips they are far better than black.
mip is nice handles are small, eds are probably the only ones i havn't tried they look nice.
hudy nut drivers are real nice though.

I just bought something from Hong Kong and it took 19days to receive it, the 'free' shipping is the slowest way possible.

I bought my EDS drivers directly from Ed...he used to sell on eBay.
