new engine wont turn
i just got my new engine and there is a pull stater on it. i went to pull it and then it stuck. i know it normal for that to happen but to the point where you cant even pull the starter with out almost breaking my truck. ive tried hair dryers, wd-40, after run but nothing makes it eaiser. the piston does spin but you have to get plyers and use it on the fly wheel just to get it to work. what is going on!?!?!?!?!?!?and i have gotten it loose but it either get suck on the bottom or the top

use a heat gun and make sure, its all the way down and heat the engine up to 200@ and fire it up.
and make sure your needles, are set correctly and it should fire up right away.
and make sure your glow plug is good also.

if he has a itatian engine the, piston will get stuck up top but thats normal intill they break in competely intill 1 gallon or so.
but thats what a heat gun is for to prevent that.

make sure that the engine isn't hydro locked pull out the glow plug and see if you can use the pull starter if so there may be too much fluid in the engine. be sure to cover the head with something like a towel before you do this cause you could get stuff all over you and the car.

A heat gun will work wonders. My brother recently bought a Werks B5 which I believe is an Italian engine. Anyway, the motor had alot of pinch. We used a heat gun and brought it to 200 degrees and then had no problem turning it over. After maybe 8-10 tanks through it, no heat gun was necessary for the really tight pinch was gone. The engine sounds and runs great!!

As above heat it, you can get a hairdryer on it, it's a new engine so dont worry,

heat gun. harbor freight 10 bucks. Your pull starter and connecting rod will thank you. Once it's broke in good you won't need the heat gun anymore.

my engine was the same way (tight) I had to lean out the LSN to keep it from hydro lock and to keep it running.
