I have an os .15cv engine that is a little tired. I am going to fit a new piston and sleeve but would like to give it a bit more top end.

My ideas are to tear drop the conrod to reduce paracitics, remove pullstart and shaft, increase the transfer duration by approx 10 degrees, widen the exhaust port, port match the manifold and advance intake port on the crankshaft.

I am trying to keep up with a 15 cvrx at the top end. This motor is only a spare so if iit doesnt work, no biggie.

I have stripped and had a good look at a Navarossi so I think I know how they make a good motor brilliant.

Just after your ideas on what works and what doesnt. And a bit of a guide on far far you can go with one of these.
