Default When to change clutch springs?

Running losi truggy 2.0 using green and gold springs. When is it time to change the springs?

when you replace your shoes, you replace your shoes when they reach 23.4 mm

Yeah I use new springs with new shoes. I just didn't know if they needed changing in between.
