Sweep Racing Tires 1/8th GT thread
Our Rubber selection
- GT: Made out of Natural virgin rubber, great for VHT, Sugar coated tracks (one color dot)
- EXP: Made out of Synthetic rubber, most traction, generally last longer (two color dots)
- Full face inserts: Next level of a machined insert that fits the wheel and tire perfect, allowing the tire patch to make full contact with the surface, which in turn promotes more consistent performance and much longer tire life.
- Strip Inserts: A standard with GT tires, a strip of foam that allows a cushion of air between the tire and inserts, lightest way to assembled a tire.
- Slick: Made for commercial track or even smooth surface.
- Treaded: Very unique patterns for uneven surface such as parking lots.
- 40 Green dot/Ultra Soft compound: Cold weather.
- 45 Blue dot/Soft compound: Cool Weather.
- 50 Red dot/Medium compound: Hot weather.
- 55 Gold dot/Hard compound: Sizzling weather.
Our GT tires is designed for Nitro Powered GTs in mind, even thought some racers had great success with our tires on their "Insane Speed" runs with 2S-6S Lipo/Brusheless Motor equipped machines but we do not recommend our tires for that kind of racing or nor warranty or guarantees of any kinds for that matters. our tires are designed for "Circuit Racing" where Lap times are most important.
1st IFMAR GT8 World Champion event was announced on the RedRC on June/9/2015, here is the link to the rule book.

I was just on your site because I am wondering about that shores there will be, also if you have a temperature scale for what shore to use at a certain temperature.

GT tires just arrived in the US.
we will debuting at Brooklyn hobbies trophy race at Power line race club this Sunday 7/25/2010
we only have 1 set of Tread but enough set of slicks.

Hey Guys
had a great 1st outting at the Floyd benet field, last Sunday.
rained out after 2 round of racing, we had to settled by qualifying position.
1st palce Richard Siriano with his machine equipped with the Sweep tires.
Slick tires work so well on the track or on the street, it amazed us too.!

2010 Utah State Onroad Championship
On 31JUL2010 I took the 1st place finish with my Open GT(purple/silver/orange) as well as my Spec GT(yellow/orange) in this event. Tires were provided by SweepRacing for my Open GT and tires were provided by GRP for my Spec GT
