Problem-Hot Bodies D8T(sterring rack)
Ok on my Hot Bodies D8T, when I tighten the top plate on the sterring rack all the way down on the steering post it will not move. Bearings are free moving and took everything apart and cleaned it. Any ideas?

I had the same problem when I changed the bearings out. I've put the HB ones back in and it's gone away. If you're on the original bearings something's not right somewhere.

Your akerman plate screws may be too long and hitting the top plate. Cut them down so they are flush with the top of thier lock nut.
I made sure to use the right screws and mine were too long. Zipped them down with a dremel and I'm good now.

No, I am not talking about the ackerman plate I am talking about the top plate on the steering with HB on it the 2 4mm button head screws that go down into the steering post, these are the ones that bind when tightened all the way down.
