You don't seem to realize that the high end kits are marketed towards people that are already established in the sport. They probably have 20 sets of tires and have no use for a cheap set tossed in as a convenience.

HPI and Tamiya have lower end kits you might enjoy that come with tires. You have to pay to play and if you don't like it, write a letter and i'm sure they'll get back to you.

A bit of a difference.

Wrong.

The Ferrari is an RTR.

All RC RTRs I know of have come with tyres.

But when we last looked at a 1:1 kit car... BYO tyres too.

Some of them even BYO engine & drivetrain.

hmmm!!

How would most people feel if their $180K Ferrari came with mud-bogging tires. Some would like it, most would hate it. Same with pro-level kits. Better to pick your own.

Ferraris don't come with mud bogging tires. They come with z rated race quality tires.

I doubt Ferrari Challenge Stradale buyer's are unhappy with the tires that come on the car.

People who only race on carpet with foams.
People who haven't had any success with CS27s.
People who have a whole box full of the perfect tires for their track and don't want to pay an additional $20-$30 for the kit to include tires.
