Well boyz, I'm breaking down and buying an X-Ray. Will someone please tell me what parts normally wear out or break easily, as well as any cool aftermarket parts I might want to get...
Thanks!
Thanks!

Um a losi would be a nice addition to it...hehe
Seriously the hard front bumper (parma sells the rubberneck) or go to rubberneck directly.
They have the battery strap and motor guard, both are nice.

Gary, I have a friend with an Xray. One of the most important things to get is the steel front axle/hubs, the aluminum ones are just too soft. They mushroom out and screw up the bearings. He has broken a few caster blocks and a couple arms even with a P-dub bumper. Other than that, car seems pretty bullet proof. Just need normal tuning options after that.
Package arrived safely yesterday, I'll get with you tomorrow to straighten things out.

YES!!! You will not be sorry. Snag the hudy steel front hex hubs for sure. The Alum ones get warped on hits and it's card to pull them through the bearings after they warp.
I'll PM you with more ideas. I'll also send you my setup sheet. Also...watch for the vegas setup sheet in a couple weeks form the factory drivers.

Gary, I too just purchased the Xray. After speaking with a few factory xray drivers the options I would choose would be the Team Tamale 2deg rear hubs. With this setup you don't have to shim the rear hinge pin brace to achieve the 2deg rear toe in. It frees up the back of the car. I like the 4.5deg caster blocks. Great steering into and through med corners and it doesn't give up much in the tight sections on the infield. I also decided to run the TRF shocks. Smooth the best in the business and all the xray springs fit perfect. With these shocks I have no problem getting the ride height with foam tires. otherwise the Team Tamale lowered spring perch is the ticket. If you run the TRF shocks 2 hole pistons work best inside. I ran the Xray yesterday after recieving it in the mail on Sat. (busy night) It was hooked upall day! Good luck! Ray Warner

We've yet to see who supposely started this little rumor... I wonder why.
In any case, I'm sorta flattered in a way.. After I thought about it, I realized all the good companies have had rumors like this spread about them. I mean, if the rumors were true, Trinity should have been sold or went out of business like 20 times by now!!
