yeah, I should tell you what's wrong because he's almost never on the Forums....

His T3 just plain has a LOT of rolling resistance, and the rear tires are really.... "wobbly" (only word I could think of that describes it)

would the diff have anything to do how it is rolling? i have a old rear end for sale $25. has front and rear end of t3 and some extra parts only tires on back but really worn body and some bearings for t3. mainly for extra parts or stuff like that but i dont know why the tires would be wobbly exept for maby there are no bearing.

For the rolling resistance, I would first check and see if the rear wheel nuts are being over tightened. If the axle isn't spaced right, it's possible to over tighten the wheel nuts which causes the rim to rub up against the hub carrier. Also, pull the bearings out of the carriers and make sure they're not blown and still spin freely. Those are the first things I'd check.

Ya thanks, but I allready tried to loosen the nuts on the rear tires, it didnt work, It just made the tires more "WOBILLY"

Take off the wheels, and try spinning the drivetrain. How does it feel. Do you feel alot of resistance? If so, take out the cvds and try spinning again, if it goes away, maybe your hub bearings. I would keep doing it this way till I could narrow down the problem. may be cheaper that way for you than buying a new rear end. You could also try replacing the bearings in the truck as well if its been bashed alot. Bearing kits for those are not too expensive.

I suggest to just take out the diff. rebuild it, and replace the old diff bearings w/ new ones. that should allow it to spin w/out resistance, and feel smooth. (just get stock bearing instead of the expensice bearing unless you're going to plan on racing. or maybe you have alot of dirt in the gear case and is getting in the way of diff gears.???

After several years my bearings were perfect but there was a buildup of gunk in the teeth of the gears in the gearbox. This caused heaps of resistance.. Thoroughly cleaned the crud out from the teeth of the gears and it was as good as new. Had the same problem with my T2 but I left that a little too long to fix and the idler gear overheated and melted itself to the gearbox case..
