Im thinking of starting on road racing in asphalt and looking to buy a used roller.

Is the TC6.2 a good option or would you experienced racers recommend something else?

Yes. Starting used is great way to get into it with out breaking bank. I'm just finishing my first summer of racing. Chose to run a budget chassis over my XRay and Serpent. I'm still bit off pace but it's not the chassis.

There is a guy here selling his ARC R11 2017. Great car, all the factory upgrades, extremely fast car! And only $230 for the roller. I can tell you, it's a much better car than the TC6.2.

Love the handling of both the Vette and P-zero. But the P-zero is just quicker for me on asphalt. On carpet it's very close with the stiffer chassis setup.

And the Caddy...I still bring it to the track for some reason, but the Vette and P-zero have it beat from my setups.

I would be curious to see how they compare with ALL the wings trimmed to legal 10mm ht. Caddy is obvious since you can see the cut line and the exotek looks like it isn't as low as the vette.

Thumbs on the paint jobs, but I gotta ask what’s up with with body posts?

I've been racing, well on the same track, with his cars all summer.

He's been running a number of different bodies over summer. Easier to just leave posts tall.

They're ROAR approved which means they're not allowed to cost more than $150. They're not on sale, that's just a marketing ploy to make it look like good value. Fantom regularly does the same thing.

Edit: misread the bundle part

The esc is probably fine. The motor was actually pretty fast on smaller carpet tracks a couple years ago - good torque. Now, with the motors advancing quite a bit, it would not be as competitive. Solid, and they work fine, just not as fast.
