I recently found a 2 speed transmission on ebay that's made for electric vehichles, it's made in canada, does anyone know anything about them & if they're worth the money?

2 speeds on an electric is pretty useless, is what I have always been told. They are not legal for any racing programs that I know of. I wouldn't waste money on it unless you just want that cool factor of being able to say your car has 2 speeds. But as far as any actual benefitsto performace, there are none that I know of. Electric has all the power all the time, unlike a nitro that has a narrow powerband that changing gear would help keep the engine in.
