I had a choice of taking photos and videos, or "talking" on the computer. I picked the cameras.

I've got several photos, and a LOT of video to organize and upload. I've also got all the race results to upload here, if Doug doesn't beat me to it.

The story and photos will be on SGrid Online and/or Facebook by early tomorrow.
The videos will be on Youtube and Facebook, probably by late tomorrow.

The latest two videos were posted in HD 720p resolution - the rest will be done the same way, but it takes forever to do.

To get the race results:

a) go to http://www.sgrid.com/2010/december/ifmar-wc/results/

b) They are organized by race number - click on any race to download the results.

Many of the faster racers couldn't attend the pre-worlds, but will certainly try to be at the main event next April. Chris is certainly one of the fastest racers around to represent Team USA; hopefully he'll be there.

I took quite a bit of video at the pre-worlds, all in Hi-Def 720p resolution. The video of the Final is uploading now - Youtube says it will be finished in 86 minutes. It's now 10:53, so do the math - but it takes a while after the upload completes before you can play videos back in HD.

One of the nicest "almost" stories at this race was Felix Law. This was his second 1/8 on-road fuel race ever, and with the help of Jason Bell, he came out to race in a box-stock old-model Mugen car. Felix made it up to the Semi-Finals, and was within seconds of finishing with a good enough time to bump up into the Final. There's a video of Felix and Jason I need to upload once I get some other information posted.

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

(Select HD 720p for best resolution, and click on the link to play the video on Youtube, rather than in this window.)

(more HD videos to follow...)

I know someone asked what bodies the cars had on them.

Does anyone know what body Pietsch, Robert, and Mike Swauger. used?
