Default Street tire alternatives?

I just bought an RC8T RS and was wondering what street tire and wheel combo would work best for it. A friend lent me a set of HPI Phaltlines mounted on HPI Blast Wheels. Any recommendations before i buy my own set.

The best tire I tried was made by Twister Tire USA. "#1099 Rally Game "B" Mede radiali". I Purchased 4 pairs 2 month's ago $16 a pair and now they are no longer on there website. If Twister is reading this these will sell like hotcakes if they sold their tires as a Latemodel tire. I really love these tires they work great on my Latemodel and lasted wear like iron on high traction.

I haven't used these but Alpha tires from South America pass the eyeball test for me.
Also Ipenema makes street tires too. Look here too

Plant in Italy burned down last year and some GRP tires are avaiable on ebay. I also run OFNA slicks when I brake motors in, in my street. they work good and show no wear at all.
